Once Emperor Akbar was offering namaz (prayer) in an open ground.
A girl who was mad in love of her beloved went to meet him across the ground. She was so absorbed in beloved's thoughts that she virtually walked over Akbar's back when he was bowing down to offer prayer.

Next day Akbar called the girl and decided to punish her for her offense. He asked whether she had any thing to say in her defense.
Girl said, “I was so lost in my love that I could not realize there was someone offering prayer in my way. My mind was away from my eyes and for this reason eyes could not perform their work. What surprises me is that you were quite aware of surrounding even while offering prayer. You do not even love God to the extent to which mortal love one another!” Listening to this, Akbar set her free without any punishment!

When RamKrishna Parmhans used to offer garland to mother Goddess Kali, tears used to flow endlessly through his eyes and he would advance to garland the idol. For him, it was not idol but the Goddess Kali incarnate! And ultimately he would garland himself!!

When Krishn went to Vidur's home, Vidur was out for some work. Vidur's wife, Vidurani was there. She offered Krishn Banana. She was so much lost in love and happiness that she removed the skin from banana and offered it to Krishn, instead of Banana. And Krishn accepted it!! That what he said in Gita, 'I accept anything that offered to me with love.'' Love makes you oblivious of outer world and actions!

However, in initial stages, one needs to practice in such a place which is away from noise so that concentration does not get disturbed. In earlier period, daemons used to disturb divine worship and to tackle them Lord Ram came down and ultimately all the daemons were killed.
