Now that mind keeps on changing moods frequently in order to seek happiness, Hindu says implement good thoughts immediately.
For example, sometimes you have thoughts of giving donations to spiritual charities, spending time on spiritual reading or doing something good, then you should immediately perform those actions of giving out the money etc. If not done on the point, mind would change its mood and this switch over will not allow good actions to happen.
Similarly, you should never commit on bad or evil thoughts immediately.
Actions pertaining to the thoughts like harming others, killing others, blaming others out of vested interests, doing injustice or doing partial behavior etc should be delayed to other time and other date. Again the same philosophy works. The switch over of mood by mind will not allow bad actions to happen.
This exactly what Ravan advised to Laxman on death bed. When Ravan was dying, Ram asked his younger brother Laxman to seek advice from him.
Ravan advised, 'Good plans should be immediately implemented while evil plans should be deferred. Look at me I immediately implemented the evil plan to lift Sita and the result is I am dyeing. I kept on delaying my plan to build a staircase from earth to heaven for the benefit of people and it was never built.'
Ved says the same thing.
Don't say I'll do it, I'll do it. Start it (remembering God) immediately. " I will do it, I will do it" will not materialize till the death. And after the death there will be nothing left. You will repent a lot for wasting such a golden opportunity of human form.
