It is necessary to know we are worshiping the supreme God. If there is no true knowledge of the personality which is worshiped, it is not possible to stick to the path steadfastly.

For example when some one worships God there are many others, who worship other form of God (Though all the form are divine and replete with eternal infinite bliss, the manifestation of love is different.), may come telling, 'Hey! What are you doing? Why are you after Krishn? You know Shankar much softhearted. You will acquire divine bliss fast there.'Similarly there could be many arguments regarding Devi, Ganesh and so on.

There are other disciplines like the one supported by The First Shankarachay. Followers of these disciplines can argue, 'What are you talking of love and humility? You are God himself ! '

Not only that there are people from other religions like Christen, Islam etc. Please note that all these religions were established by saints, who acquired divine bliss and I am not talking against them.

But the followers who do not know the real divine intentions of founder can argue 'Hey! What is there in Hindu? There so many Hindu Gods. Is that possible that they fight among themselves? God is only one. Moreover God behaves like an ignorant person on this earth; how rubbish! It is so stupid to limit God to any idol. There cannot be any form related to God. God occupies the whole universe how can t be limited to a piece of stone? See our religion Islam, there is only one God - Allah. Accept our religion. (Islam kabool kar lo.) Worship Allah and all your worries will be gone. ' Same argument can be aired by other religions which do not idolize God.

If you are not sure of what you are following then you might change your path or religion. Hence it becomes imperative that we compare all paths to God and after the confirmation that the best path is selected, we stick to it. There should not be any deviation from the spiritual practice. Only undeviating spiritual practice leads to attainment of divine bliss.
