Many people prey God for worldly objects and relations.
People put their demands to God ...'Give me a child. Save someone who is dying. Give me money. Give me power. Solve my problem. Remove my sufferings and so on'.

This is no devotion at all. Devotion is love. In such cases love is directed to the material world and God is just an instrument to fulfill worldly wish. God cannot be fooled. God does not manipulate the outcomes of action for anyone. Hindu says 'No one can escape action-outcomes.' It's God's rule and he won't break his own rule! Thus there is no point in asking God for any worldly favor. But we need to love God himself to get rid of all sufferings for once and all through purification of the heart.

If you ask God some worldly favor, you will get it only if it is there in your destiny not otherwise. This explains the partial fulfilling of wishes. When wish is fulfilled faith increases and when not fulfilled faith decreases.
It is most stupid of people to visit temples for material favor. Those gullible people who are not aware of the correct philosophy can be easily trapped by fake saints who promise worldly objects of all kinds. People believe them not knowing that even God Ram himself did not save his dyeing father Dashrath.

Another point is God is present every where. What is the need to visit places of famous temples? Same God present in the temple near by. Same God is present in your heart. If you don't believe it, you have no faith in God. Hindu says, 'Why do you search me (God) outside when I am residing right there in your heart?' It is like you are having "KamDhenu (The Cow That fulfills all your desires)" at your home and you are begging for food outside!
Not only temples, people (including big politicians and famous celebrities) visit any grave-yard where some was buried years ago in an anticipation of some wish fulfillment. What a stupidity!

We must remember the correct philosophy 'No one can get anything else other than outcomes of his own action and that no one can escape the fall out of actions,' The ONLY WAY out is to purify heart! Do it now or do it today or do it in this life or do it after infinite lives! Hindu says 'Nanyaha Pantha ..' NO OTHER WAY OUT! When it must be done , better to start as early as possible.
