There is no difference love of Laila-Manjnu and that of Mira-Krishn. Love is the same. The object of love was different. Thus Mira got the divine effect but not Laila. This happens even in the material world.
A person had four daughters. He arranged the their marriages with four brothers and was very happy that his daughters were married in well-to-do family.
One of the four brothers passed the IAS exam and became a collector. Other had to settle for IPS and became a Police officer. Third brother cleared bank exam and became a clerk while the fourth brother got addicted to wine and lost everything he had.
What happens to four daughters? One enjoyed all pleasures and respect being wife of an IAS officer. Wife of IPS officer too enjoyed her privileges, wife of clerk lead a common life while wife of addict was in distress through out for lack of money.
All of them loved their husbands but everyone had different destination.
Therefore ways to love are not different but devotion just directs love to divine personality - God. Which means same work but different outcome depending on where the action is directed.
There are many cases where girls are deceived in love. The boy or man lay love trap for girls. They behave with them as if they love no one else. Many times th person could be married, may be making false stories about him and his family. His motive is to deceive the girl, snap her ties with family and then she could be sold brothel or converted or forced to live life full of miseries.
The girl, unaware of the ulterior motive, develops love and later weeps the whole life. Same love that lifted Mira from all sufferings, led another girl to hell of a sufferings. Why? OBJECT of love matters! To love is to have desires to see the beloved, to hear from beloved, to romance with beloved and so on. If beloved is Krishn, it is devotion. The result is eternal bliss. If beloved is mortal person the result IS sufferings sooner or later.
If love or all these desires are for self happiness meaning for own romantic pleasures, it is selfish love and if all these desires are for making beloved happy, it is self-less love. A lady from Mathura, Kubja loved Krishn to seek romance from him for fulfillment of her own desires while maids of Vrindavan loved Krishn selflessly. Selfless love is the top most and this love must be the aim of every individual.
Now a big question – Is Krishn (God) like any material person that if someone loved him, he would absolve him from all sufferings and if any person did not love him, God would make him suffer??
The answer is that God is divine and therefore when anyone loves God, his mind gets connected with divine God and divine character of God flows to mind of the concerned person and eventually on 100% purification of heart due to divine intake, mind becomes capable of sustaining infinite happiness and thus God showers his grace to make the lover happy forever that too with infinite amount of happiness. Such person is surpasses death and all other miseries and permanently enjoys eternal love bliss.
But mortal person lack this very divinity, his mind is full of materialistic desires and hence lover’s mind becomes more impure because on love connection material character flows into the lover’s mind, when beloved is a mortal person. This mind cannot be turned into divine and hence soul has to suffer death and all other sufferings.
The conclusion, object of love must be God to get entry into divine area.
