Both these disadvantages disappear in Soul-Soul (DIVINE) relationship.

Divine Soul means the one who has acquired knowledge of God. Any soul, on seeking God, acquires all powers of God and hence he can deal with any other soul just as God would.

He can be in constant touch with mind which is devoted to him.
He can take care of all essential requirements of soul.
He does mind surgery to remove the impediments which do not allow divine bliss to enter the mind.
He can decide on what soul should be given so as to facilitate his journey to God.
He many times experience the pains on the behalf of his follower so that his disciple is not disturbed by bodily pains which could put halt to the disciple's spiritual progress. All his bodily ailments are the result of this action.
He can protect his disciple just God would.
He can be perceived by all senses.
One can talk to him. One can ask him genuine doubts regarding God and scriptures.
He can correctly interpret the scriptures because of his divine powers and hence Gita states, ' Go to the genuine saint. Bow to him with respect. Ask him your doubts. Do his service.'

So, what comes out is the best relationship from point of view of seeking divine happiness is Soul to Divine Soul. That is Disciple to Guru!
It does not mean that Guru is giving you something, which God cannot, the main advantage lies in ease with which God's love can be attained by the directives that Guru gives you from time to time.
