So, we are discussing problems related to having possession of excess money. Excess money is that money which above the money limit required to sustain a simple life. The problem is that with possession of wealth, the person thinks he is superior to others and develops inflated ego.

This inflated ego then works so as keep the person's importance intact, by putting veil on conscience. Such person argues,'I have right to earn the money this way or that way or anyway. Today's world is after all money oriented. People with money get importance everywhere. Money brings in enjoyment. In this world only those people are not corrupt who do not get any chance to be corrupt. What the hell is spirituality and God? Man created God by his concept, there is no question of existence of any such personality. This life is for enjoyment. One should enjoy every moment that comes across. Don’t worry about right and wrong, justice and injustice.. Go on eulogizing persons in power and persons with money so that you can more money which can fulfill more lust.’

In short money makes the owner blind and impervious to anything that goes against his ego. Hence no spiritual argument can penetrate such mind. The reason is that to be spiritual the very first requirement is understand the real self position in this universe. A person can turn spiritual only if he accepts that God is above all and that any individual is in need of the happiness that resides with God. God is giver. He must understand whatever is with him is given by God and it is compulsory to abide by his rules.

The above description fits well not only to people with wealth but people with power, talent, beauty, skill. However there are few exception, but the general rule is people with position of dominance do not turn spiritual mainly because they thing they are assistant God themselves. They can handle everyone with their influence.

It means to have wealth is not the grace of God. The grace of God is to turn spiritual. This is what Hindu states in Bhagwat. Krishn says, ‘When I bless someone I take away his wealth, his dominance, his relatives’, so that the individual comes out of the delusions of worldly attachments and seeks the real bliss that exists with God.

Hence the boon that Kunti asked ‘Make me devoid of money, power and everything that takes the individual away from you, O! Krishn!’
