The fifth goal is power. Everyone wants that others should listen to him. There is a general tendency to expect others to behave according to one's desire. There have been continual fights to show supremacy in this world. Kings have fought bitter battles over the control of pieces of lands. Today, too, so called super powers like America, Russia, China are trying to exercise control over this world.

Once a King approached a saint and said with vanity, 'O! Sage! I am king of this vast country. Tell me what should I in your service.'

The saint smiled and replied pointing at mosquito,'This creature is troubling me a lot. Ask it to stop harassing me.' King was astonished with such a demand!

Saint said, 'What kind of king are you? You don't even have control over a small fly! '

Those, who claim to have control over others, should realise that everyone is controlled by God according to deeds. No one has control over death! No one has control over mind. No one has control over sun and moon. No one has control over natural calamities.

Thus power is a distant dream till one aligns oneself with body. Once aligned with soul, person could be successful in getting spiritual love and then God serves the devotee. God is all powerful and hence saint automatically assumes the same power by virtue of God.
