Religion is a staircase to get to the divine world of God. Instead of using the staircase, this staircase has become a reason to fight with each other. Religion which is supposed to bring in infinite happiness, is used to inflict pains on others. No one is using the religion to seek God but religion has become a tool to develop ego. This was the reason why a Muslim saint Rabia once ran in the street with flaring stick shouting 'Burn the Kaba. Burn it!' when asked about such unholy utterance, she replied 'People are forgetting Allah - the house owner - and are fighting after the house.' Religion is NOT God or Khuda or Bhagwaan. It just one of the way to advance towards God. Therefore crimes in the name of religion are heavily punishable and such acts have nothing to do with any religion. Few people, who are self proclaimed protector of religion, try to usurp the religious sediments for their own selfish motives. We hear all the religious fighters are addicted drugs, wine and sex. This misplaced faith in the criminals in the name of religion will lead to sufferings as it happening all over the world where religious fanatics are on the rise.

All these problems arise because the mistake done at the start . 'I' is associated with body and not with the soul. Now no amount of anything - money, girls, power, fame, prestige, beauty, attention, food delicacies, lavish stay - can satisfy anyone because this is not what 'I' wants. I, the soul, wants eternal life and infinite happiness. And to achieve these two goals one has to take recourse to God.
