Divine power governs you and not other way round. Your thinking is up to you. What your religion says is up to your religion. Thus if two religions preach contradicting philosophies, then you will have to make a choice.

Say for example the only religion which claims rebirth is Hindu. Islam claims no rebirth. Which is correct? Both cannot be correct. And if one is correct then followers of the others' are in a great danger of getting influenced by wrong philosophy which would in turn inflict innumerable suffering and pains to followers of wrong religion despite the claims by the scriptures of that religion. Those claims are NOT supported by the Divine realm and hence null and void.

You will have to make choice, Change in faith never fetches any penalty provided the change is from wrong to right and not in the other direction. One basic understanding is that you would leave your slum house in lieu of a modern flat. You would not argue that 'I was born in the slum so I will live in the slum all my life. Religion is a place where your mind resides. Don't ever think twice in making a better change. In my opinion, Hindu religion is the Best. You can see the comparison of Hindu religion with that of Islam which I posted earlier.

Many people object caste system of Hindu religion and on that basis blame the religion for discrimination. The caste structure had its utility in early era which is now diminishing because of rise of variety of work areas and roles. This structure is fast collapsing. Importantly this type of society is described in Hindu scriptures itself and hence is accepted.

In Hindu religion thrust was never on materialistic gain but on spiritual pursuit. Ved Vyas who is supposed to have compiled Vedas says , "Shudras are far better placed spiritually because what Brahmins would achieve through highly rigorous rituals, Shudras will achieve the same just by their daily non rigorous routine."

Another point is if you check Saints or devotees of India very few are Brahmins. And Lord Krishna says in Gita ,' My devotee, be it from the lowest of castes, is much SUPERIOR to any higher caste Brahmin of any kind and such devotee extremely dear to me.'

Lord Krishna puts Gopis of Vrindavan in the topmost hierarchy in spiritual realm. And all of them were from so called lower caste.

Thus there is no point in blaming Hindu religion is based on caste system because it is now collapsing and such collapse is acceptable in Hindu religion.
