Those damsels said ,”If you assure us you
would not curse, we would tell you the reason”.
On getting assurance from Ved Vyas, they
said,”Your son is Param Hans while you are Hans. We did not
find any change in his sight on seeing us. It was as if he was
looking at trees and hills. And for you, you saw us, you asked us
about our action, which proves that you are a Hans. Hence we dressed
when you came.”
Param Hans is the one, who is so absorbed in the
spiritual happiness that he sees only him everywhere. He listens only
to him, Through all senses he perceives only him meaning only divine
soul and the spiritual happiness of divine soul. Body loses its
meaning. .It is such state that "who listens to whom? Who sees
whom? And so on.". Which means why Paramhans would look else
where when he receives the happiness from within the soul. While Hans
also has access to spiritual happiness , he sees the world and
accepts the correct ones and rejects the wrong ones.
Shuk Dev went to forest and went into divine trans
which completely disconnected him from the material world. No
material sound, touch smell, fire, water could enter his trans. It
turned him like immovable rock from outside while from within there
was unending experience of infinite divine bliss.
Ved Vyas returned to his monestry. Ved Vyas wrote
all vedas, upnishads, mahabharat but he was restless. He did not know
the reason. Once Narad ji met Ved Vyas. He said to Ved Vyas, “You
have written a lot of intellectual subject but it all lacked love
nectar. You must describe spiritual love – the devotion and
lovely divine play of God. For this, you must do spiritual love
practice – devotion and get the divine view of God and then
construct devotional scripture. You will get rid of this restlessness
then.”
So Ved Vyas lived with austerity and saw himself
the divine God with form and also saw the ugly form of Maya. After
getting the divine knowledge of devotion, he went on to write
Bhagwat..
