Although
Gopis were arguing with Krishn, their heart were full of grief, while
talking their eyes were filled with tears and they sighed heavily.
The despair was too visible. Eyes became red with continuous crying.
They entreated Krishn earnestly.
‘You are the one
who knows what is going on in every heart. Your cruel word pound our
hearts, you should never utter such words. We love you more than our
life. We came to you leaving everyone behind. We know you are at
liberty to behave as you like and that you are unyielding. We have no
right over you. But you fulfill wishes of you devotees, so please
accept us. Do not desert us like this. Your lovely smile, enchanting
eye glances, melodious music have ignited desire of romance in our
hearts. Please give us the elixir of your red lips. If you reject us,
we will surely die of the burning fire of your separation.
You promised us this
gratifying experience of your service which is not available to even
Goddess Laxmi who is your eternal wife. Now that the moment has come,
you are plunging us in the ocean of grief and despair.
Your beautiful face
over which attractive hair curls are freely moving has forcefully
seized our minds. Seeing your alluring smile on lips and your
inviting beauty, who would resist loving you? There in no lady in the
whole universe who would not give up every relation, every
restrictions, every religion, every societal norm seeing your
handsome, enticing and tempting looks. It is your principle that you
accept whoever submits to you, so please accept us too who have taken
refuge at your lotus feet.’
Krishn finally melted
into the love of Gopis and started the divine romantic play of Raas
