Dance began. All demigods with their s wives were excited to watch the divine dance. They showered flowers from sky. Every Gopi was dancing to the tunes of unparallelled melodious music. Their anklets, chains around the waist and bangles made a divinely sweet sound. This sound from all Gopis created another beautiful music.

Gopis and Krishn were dancing with superbly synchronized movements of neck, eyes, hands and legs, some times fast, sometimes slow. Gopis were singing beautifully. Sometimes Gopis sang while othertimes Krish sang for Gopis. The enoyment had no bounds. The atmosphere was charged with divine ecstasy.

Krishn was looking like blue could among the lightening of white Gopis. Every Gopi always realized that Krishn was only with her and with no one else. The dance continued for one night of Brahma. (4,29,40,80,000 years. ) During this period the whole universe was kept asleep by divine power of Yogmaya of Krishn.

After the dance Krishn went into the waters of Yamuna with Gopis and all them enjoyed the playing water in which Krishn and Gopis threw water on each other by hand. Paramhans Shuk Dev was describing Raas as was done never before . But King Parikshit who was the audience to this narration asked a question.

“Krishn was God himself. He came down to the earth to protect and establish the religious structure. Then how is it that Krishn danced with ladies who were others’ wives against the religious principles? Krishn is happy within himself and does not need anyone from outside from enjoyment. Why did then he performed such disgraceful action of dancing with other women?”

SukDev realized that Parikshit just wanted liberation. He would not be able to grasp the divinity associated with actions of God and he is not qualified to even listening to this divine play of Raas any further. He abruptly ended the description of Raas. But not before he answered the question.
