Gopis said ‘O! Krishn! O! Dear! Because of your coming the importance of Braj has surpassed the importance of Vaikunth(Divine abode of God Vishnu). Even Goddess Laxmi wanted entry into the Braj. But see the condition of we Gopis who loved you more than their lives!
They are wandering in the forest searching you! Your lotus petal like eyes have wounded our mind as hunter’s arrow makes deer wounded. Does one kills only by weapon? Not by eyes?
You have saved us from many demons. We know that you are not just son of Yashoda but you are the one who resides in every heart and that you have arrived here to protect the earth. You complete all desires of your devotees, then why do not you reveal your beautiful appearance and appear in person? We are devoted to you and cannot live without you! We are sold to you and you are our only master!
The inferno of separation can be put down only with sight of your lovely face! You speak so soft and sweet that no can help getting attracted to you!
The stories of your divine pastimes is are real life nectar! These pastimes get rid of sins and pains. Surely the one who distributes these pastimes are the greatest donors of this world!
O! Beloved! Those were the days when your glances, your gestures used to put us in the trance of joy! And now you are not paying heed to our entreaties! We remember when you used to go to forest to graze the cattle, we had always thought that the rough terrain of forest filled with stones and thrones would put you under so much hardship!
In your absence a second would appear like ages to us. And when you used to be back in the evening we were so pleased to see you again.
On that occasion even the interruption of falling eyelid was unacceptable to us! We used to say that Brahma who made these eyelids must be a great fool!
