Those who think God can be known, know nothing.
Those who think God cannot be known, know everything.

Or
God cannot be understood.
God can be understood.

‘Mind is beyond the reach of senses. Intellect is beyond the reach mind. Soul is beyond the reach of intellect’. Further Maya is beyond soul and God is beyond Maya.
Thus intellect is in no way capable of reaching God.
And the only instrument that gather knowledge for us is intellect. Henece something which is beyond the capacity of intellect cannot be understood by us, which means we can never be successful in getting knowledge of God.

But many have acquired the knowledge of God.
How was that possible?

Scriptures say , 'Only God can see God. Meaning only eyes of God can see God'.
In other words only divine eyes can have have divine vision to see God. Similarly divine ear can hear divine God. divine nose can have divine frgrance of God. Divine skin can touch divine God.

Thus was possible to those men see God because God through his natural grace blessd them with divine intellect, divine mind and divine body, divine senses.
Why God graced them and not us?
Because they submitted to God in totality.

Thus
Those who think God can be known, know nothing.
Those who think God cannot be known, know everything.

Or
God cannot be understood.
God can be understood.
