In Gita, Krishn says to Arjun, ‘Thinking of
materialistic pleasures gives rise to temptation, temptation to
demands and demands to anger, anger to intoxication and intoxication
to delusion. Delusion leads to destruction of intellect and then
destruction of everything.’ Thus the root cause of all miseries
is desire for material happiness.
Krishn says to Arjun,‘If you win you will
rule the earth, if you get killed you get the heaven.’
But heaven is no solution. Krishn adds,‘After
consuming the reward for deeds, soul returns to this world.’
Therefore, finally Krishn tells ‘Remembering
me all the time, fight the war. This way you will reach me.’
Krishn explains ‘Soul goes to that
personality, whose thought was present in the mind while dyeing.’
Hence if we remember God all the time, in the end
time too our mind will be fixed on God and thus we will reach our
final destination of realm of eternal bliss.
