Now, Gita on love practice (devotion) and lovers
(devotees) :
Krishn says,’Every one is equal to me. I am
neither friendly nor unfriendly to anyone. But those who are devoted
to me, they are in me and I am in them’, meaning my devotee and
I are one and the same. Although God resides in all souls, he just
notes down what soul is doing and gives soul outcomes of the actions.
But when it comes to a devotee, he takes control of his actions and
makes him free of all outcomes of all actions. Because of direct
control on the actions of soul, actions of soul are actions of God
and hence there is no difference between devotee and God.
Arjun asked, ‘Which is better? Followers of
formless God or followers of God with form?’
Krishn replies,’Those who always keep me in
mind and worship me with faith are the best.’ Who was Krishn?
Of course, God with form.
Further ’The path for seekers of formless
God is extremely painful.’
‘Put your mind in me only and intellect too
in me…..’
‘I pull them (my devotees) out of this sea
of miseries.’
‘My devotee is dear to me...’
‘My devotee can never have a down fall’
Guarantee is only for devotee, not for yogi nor for man of action
and nor for man of knowledge (follower of formless God.)
‘I take complete care of my devotee’
which means protect what he has and give him what he does not have.
