How dull Maya can over power vital Soul?
If Maya can overpower vital soul then is there any possibility that even God can be controlled by Maya?

A small stone can kill an ant but an elephant will just shrug off such stone.
Similarly Maya overpowers weak soul but Maya can not reach anywhere near God, controlling God is out of question.

To know God, one must go beyond Maya.
