So, if you have any doubt about any of actions of Saint or God, there is only one answer. Actions of God and Saint are divine in nature and hence they are beyond the comprehension of mind and intellect. Their actions can never be wrong nor ill-conceived. When God and saint are in this world their outer actions essentially appear devoid of divinity to common persons. The reason being non-divine state of heart. Non-divine mind fails to perceive divinity.

Take example of God Ram. When he was in the forest there were so many instances which contradicted his omniscience. First Sita asked Ram that she wanted the golden deer which she saw grazing in front of the hut. Being the internal power of God how was Sita deceived by the golden deer which was a demon in the form of deer? Then how couldn’t Ram make out that the deer was fake? Then again Sita was deceived by the voice of demon and sent Laxman to help Ram. Didn’t she know that Ram was all powerful God who cannot be defeated?

Then Sita was taken away by Ravan. Ram didn’t know who took away Sita and where she was. And Ram was God! Tears were flowing from his eyes. See what happens next. Ram and Laxman were moving through the jungle in search of Sita. Ram went on asking trees whereabouts of Sita. He was in so much anguish that he had a loss of memory!

He asked Laxman,’Who am I?’
‘Son of Dasharath, Ram’ replied Laxman.
‘Who are you?’
‘I am Laxman, your brother.’
‘Oh! I am Ram and you are Laxman. What are we doing here?’
‘We are searching your lost wife, Sita.’
On hearing this, Ram fainted again in grief!

Can you accept a person with this behavior as God? These actions confuse greatest of the scholars all over the world. No intellect can understand God and his actions because intellect is material while God is divine.

All such actions of ignorance were played as a part of drama that God Ram staged on this earth for the benefit of souls. They are pastimes of God and hence should not be inquired into keeping in mind their divine nature. These actions are useful in diverting mind to Ram as mind easily gets attracted to these stories of lovely pastimes.
