The crush of happiness is divine love. Being divine, it is of infinite magnitude. It is so obvious that it cannot be sought by exchanging anything finite. Soul has all finite and material possessions. What can be offered to get the divine love?

Whatever practice is done by material mind, cannot fetch infinite love. Finite will always add up to finite. Therefore material practice cannot be price for the divine love.

Thus divine love can be sought only through grace of God and no spiritual practice of any amount and of any kind can fetch divine love. Hence the first statement, Divine love is unattainable by any spiritual practice.

It that case, divine love should be freely available to anyone which is not so. Spiritual practice is a must. Agreed that it will not fetch divine love but the practice is necessary to cleanse the mind. Mind cannot be cleaned without sustained spiritual practice through devotion to God. Once the mind is 100% pure, it can be transformed into divine one and then divine love is available through the grace of God and saint.
